Business Development Director - Crypto

We are partnered with a global crypto quantitative trading firm that is seeking a Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives in the global digital asset space. This senior-level role is based in New York and involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive commercial success and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies across key international markets.
• Build and manage relationships with exchanges, institutional clients, and ecosystem partners.
• Identify new opportunities in trading, OTC, and algorithmic strategies.
• Act as a bridge between external stakeholders and internal teams including trading, legal, and product.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term growth plans, including partnerships, investments, and market entry strategies.
• Represent the firm at industry events and contribute to thought leadership efforts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategy, ideally in digital assets, finance, or technology.
• Strong track record of managing complex, high-value partnerships globally.
• Deep understanding of trading infrastructure, liquidity, and digital asset markets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with executive presence.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and deal execution capabilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
