Job Details
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- At least 10+ years of experience of resolving L2/L3 level of technical incident resolution in Solaris/Linu RHEL/OEL
Must have - L2/L3 Solaris OS administration activities including LDOM/CDOM, Exadata/Solaris Zone (local/global), UFS, ZFS, Solaris Volume manager, Veritas cluster, Oracle RAC cluster, Oracle ASM. Working experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Hands on experience solving complex problems related to Pacemaker cluster.
- Azure and Oracle cloud knowledge including Exadata on cloud.
- Experience in Oracle engineering system - Exadata
Must Have - Certification in Solaris and RHEL administration.
- Python and Bash scripting, Ansible
- MetaDisk (MD) Filesystem management
- Knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) /Or any ITSM Tool incident resolution practice.
- Knowledge and working experience of ITIL processes in BAU IT IS support.
- Business hours support and rotational 24x7 on call support
- Basic knowledge of working with MS Office, Office 365 email service.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Incident Resolution -General L1/L2 troubleshooting.
- Major Incident Support
- L2/L3 Solaris OS administration activities including LDOM/CDOM, Solaris Zone (local/global), UFS, ZFS, Solaris Volume manager.
- L2/L3 Redhat/Oracle Linux OS administration activities
- Exadata and Oracle cloud servers management
- OS administration activities include but are not limited to Build, Troubleshooting, Server down, Resource
- (CPU/RAM/Disk/Network) management.
- Azure and Oracle cloud knowledge including Exadata on cloud.
- Storage or Network or Disk Interface issues
- Troubleshooting clustering issue
- Scripting and automation
