Job Title: Sr. Desktop Engineer (Windows 11 Migration)
Location: Dallas Fort-Worth, TX ( 100% onsite)
Project Duration: 5 months
Pay Rate: $70/hr - $95/hr (depending on experience)

Job Description:
Need a Sr. Desktop Engineer who can be an architect to create a playbook for a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration.
This playbook will be created from scratch, and will include imaging, testing, determining if devices can be upgraded or need to be swapped out, devices that are not compatible with Windows 11, etc. The playbook will have to be thoroughly documented so that any employee with the organization can repeat the same process at various locations.
There are 495 devices that need to be upgraded, both domestic and international, so coordination across time zones will also be necessary.
Prefers a resource that has previous experience with Windows 11 migrations but will take strong Windows 10 migration experts.
This is a senior-level resource that will hit the ground running and should be able to start advising immediately on the processes of the upgrades, followed closely thereafter by the creation of the playbook, and the scheduling of the upgrades with end users.
Strong communication with end users to schedule upgrades, explain the upgrade process, and troubleshoot any issues is a must.
Must have skills/experience:
Windows migration experience (Windows 11 highly preferred)
WSUS
Workspace One
Great communication/customer service
Background Check/Drug Screen Required
