job summary:

This is a long-term onsite consulting opportunity for a top medical device enterprise client to be a Test Engineer supporting electro-mechanical medical device work.


Duration: 12+ months


Location: Onsite 5 days a week with Santa Clara, CA


MUST HAVE:



  • Electro-mechanical Assembly and test knowledge
  • Must have test manufacturing background
  • Medical Device Experience will be beneficial-especially Process Validation IQ-OQ-PQ
  • Process Development/Design knowledge, Process documentation, Fixture Design-CAD etc

responsibilities:

Work closely with the Manufacturing and Design teams to design, develop, document, and qualify test processes used during the manufacturing of electro-mechanical components and subassemblies of a medical robotics system



  • Design, develop, document, and qualify electro-mechanical manufacturing fixtures utilizing both custom and off-the shelf hardware and software
  • Assist in the development of test algorithms, test scripts, data acquisition and measurement systems with focus on repeatability and reproducibility
  • Automate test processes utilizing in-house developed test software and scripts
  • Release engineering documentation and bill of materials
  • Support production floor with training and troubleshooting activities
  • Work under general guidance to contribute to
