Job Title: Senior Mobile Engineer MAUI (iOS & Android)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer with deep expertise in .NET MAUI to design and build cross-platform mobile applications targeting iOS and Android. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with MAUI architecture, UI/UX implementation, platform-specific customizations, and performance tuning all within the context of a native mobile-only app development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain high-quality cross-platform native mobile applications using .NET MAUI targeting iOS and Android.
Implement responsive UI with XAML and platform-specific customizations (via dependency services/handlers).
Manage application lifecycle events, device-specific integrations (camera, biometrics, sensors), and permission models.
Handle native packaging, deployment, and submission processes for the App Store and Google Play.
Optimize apps for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
Use platform-specific APIs (via MAUI Essentials or custom handlers) for native device capabilities.
Integrate local databases, secure storage, and offline data access mechanisms using tools like SQLite and Preferences.
Apply best practices in MVVM design, dependency injection, and cross-platform architecture patterns.
Conduct unit testing and validation for device compatibility and UI consistency.
Work collaboratively with designers and QA to deliver features as per product requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
6+ years of mobile development experience with at least 2 years in .NET MAUI.
Strong proficiency in C#, XAML, and the .NET 6+ ecosystem.
Expertise in building native-feel UIs using MAUI s layout system and styling capabilities.
Hands-on experience with MAUI Essentials, custom renderers/handlers, and platform-specific services.
Familiarity with mobile app lifecycle, navigation models, and multi-resolution asset management.
Knowledge of offline data strategies, local data persistence using SQLite, File System, or Secure Storage.
Experience with publishing apps to App Store and Google Play (including provisioning, certificates, etc.).
Understanding of cross-platform build and debugging tools (e.g., Visual Studio 2022+, MAUI Debugger, Android/iOS emulators).
Ability to troubleshoot platform-specific issues and provide optimal user experiences across device types.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Experience working with .NET MAUI Community Toolkit, Maui.Markup, or SkiaSharp for custom graphics.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks for mobile apps (e.g., NUnit, xUnit).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Exposure to accessibility standards, multi-language/localization support, and app theming.
