Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Support Analyst to join our team and work directly with our Software Systems Administrator and firm leadership. This role focuses primarily on software integration and automation while also handling essential IT infrastructure, offering a unique opportunity for creative problem-solving and a direct impact on firm operations. You'll have considerable autonomy to develop innovative technical solutions in our Conroe office.

Technical Environment

  • Hardware: Workstations, printers, on-site server, SonicWall firewalls, POE switches
  • Software: Google Workspace, RingCentral VOIP, Filevine CRM, DOMO
  • Infrastructure: On-premises and cloud backups, network equipment, security systems
  • Communication Systems: Video conferencing equipment, RingCentral phone systems

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Support

  • Set up and configure workstations and peripherals
  • Configure and maintain SonicWall firewalls across multiple locations
  • Manage POE switches and monitor network failovers
  • Administer on-site server and maintain backup solutions
  • Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues

Software Integration & Automation

  • Develop and implement software automations for business processes
  • Implement AI-enhanced solutions across firm systems
  • Create automated workflows between different software platforms
  • Integrate communication systems with our Filevine CRM
  • Collaborate with the Software Systems Administrator on integration projects

Security & System Optimization

  • Implement cybersecurity best practices and protocols
  • Manage firewall security and system updates
  • Optimize existing software systems for efficiency
  • Document IT systems and processes
  • Automate routine tasks where possible
  • Maintain video conferencing equipment

Business Technology Support

  • Provide technical insights for strategic business decisions
  • Assist with business intelligence platforms
  • Generate performance reports and analytics
  • Research and recommend technology improvements
  • Support SEO and digital visibility initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT with focus on software integration
  • Experience with network configuration and management
  • Knowledge of firewalls and network security
  • Familiarity with VoIP systems configuration (particularly RingCentral)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation systems and API integrations
  • Knowledge of AI implementation for business processes
  • Familiarity with backup systems and disaster recovery
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration
  • SonicWall certification or equivalent
