Senior Project Coordinator / Mid-Level Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator or Mid-Level Project Manager with 8 10+ years of experience to support and drive project execution within a Capital Markets / Investment Banking environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

This role requires hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or Azure Boards, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Scrum Master and/or PMP certification is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, resources, and timelines to meet project goals.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards in Azure DevOps / Azure Boards.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and promote best practices in project execution.
• Work closely with technical and business teams within Capital Markets / Investment Banking.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 10+ years as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager.
• Recent experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking or related financial domains.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps or Azure Boards (required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (9/10 or above).
• Proven ability to manage long-term projects with stable tenure.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership presence.
• PMP and/or Scrum Master certification (highly preferred).
• Local to New York or New Jersey and able to commute to Midtown NYC 3 days per week.

Technical Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with JavaScript and technical project workflows.
• Understanding of software development and solution delivery lifecycles.
• Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
