Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Database Developer (Part-time) for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!
Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY.
MUST HAVE Skills
- Basic VBA Skills
- Microsoft Access Developer
NICE TO HAVE
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based solutions such as Snowflake and S3.
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse technology (Unix/Ab Initio/Snowflake/Maestro)
- Deep knowledge and very strong in SQL and Relational Databases)
- Willingness to continuously learn & share learnings with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Very strong verbal & written communication skills
- Experience within the Financial industry
JOB DESCRIPTION
Solid experience in the logical and physical design and implementation of transactional database systems developed to 3rd Normal Form.
Ability to migrate poorly designed database systems to a robust design through collaboration with developers and management.
Ability to architect reliable solutions for transporting data between internal and external systems. Solid working experience optimizing and tuning all aspects of SQL Server: Database Design Query optimization / execution plan analysis Indexing/transactions / Server / Virtualization
Performance Counters Create and maintain technical design documents and diagrams Leadership
