Job Details

Position:- IMS Database Developer

Location:- Wilmington, DE / Jersey City NJ (Hybrid/On-site)

Duration:- 6+ months Contract

Local only

NO OPT & H1B

Job Description:-

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IMS DB/DC, COBOL, and JCL on IBM mainframe systems.
  • Strong experience in credit card processing systems, payments, or financial services is highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of VSAM, DB2, MVS, and integration with batch and online transaction processing systems.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and performance tuning.
  • Proficient in working with ChangeMan, Endevor, or other mainframe source control systems.
  • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and production support in regulated environments.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
