Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills combined with a passion for testing, automation, and quality assurance. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify test scenarios and edge cases.
Write clean, maintainable code for test automation in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in testing and automation.
Debug test failures and work with teams to resolve issues.
Maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
Proficient in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with automation frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Jenkins, Git, GitHub, etc.).
Knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.
Nice to Have:
Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Security or mobile testing experience.
