Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills combined with a passion for testing, automation, and quality assurance. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify test scenarios and edge cases.
  • Write clean, maintainable code for test automation in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in testing and automation.
  • Debug test failures and work with teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with automation frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Jenkins, Git, GitHub, etc.).
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Security or mobile testing experience.
