Synergis client, the creator of a leading digital payments platform for the insurance industry, has engaged us is a search for a Software Engineer Java / RPA. The selected candidate will be responsible for automation solutions development including RPA bot implementations and custom modules implementation in Java, to support existing Production bots and develop net new RPA bots and systems as needed. This engineer will work in a team with senior supervisors as well as with the operations team and the whole R&D team, to properly understand the needs and arrange the approaches of the implementation.

Software Engineer Java / RPA | Background and Scope

• Develop new software and RPA components, improve current code base & components.
• Manage code, including code review of peers and other code versioning aspects.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, development, and testing.
• Understand and use the existing products, framework, tools, technologies, and computer languages, applied to the current tasks.
• Translate automation requirements into tech requirements with estimation, and then to the actual implementation.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve errors with RPA jobs running in Production as well as in other environments.
• Research new ways of automatization collaborating with Product Teams.
• Develop new features in partnership with the Senior Team Members, Managers, and other departments.
• Maintain and update the existing software as requirements change.

Software Engineer Java / RPA | Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
• 5 - 7+ Years of Java Experience
• Coding experience in other languages: Python, .NET, etc.
• 3+ Years of JavaScript / Web API experience
• 3+ Years of Spring Boot is a good bonus
• Programming Skills:
• OOP
• Common Practices
• Popular Patterns.
• Writing Apps Code in Java, Python.
• Web Development: Spring Boot, Web API, JavaScript / HTML, etc.
• MySQL, or other SQL DBs.
• Code versioning using GIT
• Automated Web testing: Selenium / Cypress, JavaScript or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical and decision-making skills.

Software Engineer Java / RPA | Preferred

• Any other development / RPA experience would be appreciated as well
• UiPath, Power Automate, etc.
• .Net, Azure, PowerShell, etc.
• Any exposure to IVR Systems

• Ability to work for any US based company without sponsorship now or anytime in the future
• 100% remote position

The pay range for this position is between 120K and 130K. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K and commuter benefits.
