Senior Business Systems Analyst

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite – Face-to-Face Interview Required)
Start: Jan – 1st week
Experience: 11–15 years

 

Senior Business Systems Analyst to support OUC-IT modernization and mission-critical public safety systems. This role leads enterprise requirements, process redesign, and systems modernization across high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise and functional requirement gathering sessions

  • Analyze and redesign workflows, processes, and system configurations

  • Develop use cases, process models, and workflow diagrams (Visio)

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications

  • Support SDLC phases including testing, UAT, and defect tracking

  • Coordinate with multi-stakeholder teams and partner agencies

  • Support change management, training documentation, and impact analysis

  • Perform data validation, mapping, and quality reviews

  • Prepare leadership reports, dashboards, and recommendations

Required Skills

  • 11+ years Business/System Analysis experience

  • Strong SDLC, requirements documentation, and workflow analysis

  • Process modeling, use cases, Visio

  • UAT, testing support, and stakeholder coordination

  • Experience with public safety / high-availability systems (911/311 preferred)
