JOB DESCRIPITION:
Technical Requirements:
- Understanding of tenant management concepts - what constitutes a tenant in M365 and/or Azure environments
- Knowledge of subscription models and lifecycle in Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
- Ability to read and interpret API documentation to understand functionality and determine appropriate API calls
- Technical comprehension of system integrations without requiring coding skills
Typical Day in the Role:
- This project manager role focuses on coordinating and executing cross-functional operational and technical projects within Microsoft Philanthropies, with emphasis on Microsoft tenant and subscription management.
- The ideal candidate combines project management skills with technical understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including the ability to interpret API documentation and understand system integrations. This role requires both technical comprehension and strong stakeholder management skills.

- Experience understanding APIs through documentation review and working within technical development frameworks
- Knowledge of Microsoft tenant and subscription management concepts (M365/Azure)

Projects
- Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects across engineering, marketing, operations, and compliance
- Create detailed plans, maintain tracking documentation, and ensure timely execution of deliverables
- Draft and send weekly program updates summarizing priorities, blockers, and key milestones
- Lead weekly BRD review meetings and manage follow-ups and stakeholder accountability
- Gather requirements and coordinate with engineering teams to develop and validate project solutions
- Review API documentation to understand integration requirements and coordinate with engineering teams
- Collaborate on change requests through Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support Azure subscription lifecycle workflows, applying knowledge of tenant and subscription concepts
- Support product retirement processes and stakeholder email communications
- Maintain project and process documentation, and contribute to localization planning and execution
