Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring for a Mid-Level App Dev Engineer for a major Healthcare company.

6 months with potential contract to hire.

FULLY REMOTE anywhere in the United States.

You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

About the role:

The team supports enrollment, billing, and payments for the enrollment process application (Centene supports government sponsored healthcare programs). The team supports marketplace, and we are headed into open enrollment.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2-4 years of related experience.

Technical Skills:

.NET, SQL, Python

Softheon application experience

Marketplace process enrollment, billing, payments familiarity

Prod Support Experience

Experience with the following is a plus:

Microservices architecture, SRE experience

Familiarity with the Softheon vendor enrollment and payment suite of systems

Experience w/ 834 EDI files

Experience w/ Marketplace business process for enrollment, billing, and payments

Day to Day:

Completion of assigned JIRA stories against sprint metric goals

Completion of PROD support INC management

Installing local versions of code blocks, connecting to services, familiarizing w/ the application flow and GitLab repos, confirming access.

Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions.

Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business.
