Job Description

In this high-impact role, you can step up as a tech leader and innovator by providing your knowledge and mentorship to infrastructure engineers. Lead teams towards excellence and demonstrate your skills as a leader.

As a Senior Manager of Infrastructure Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Corporate Technology Employee Platforms Team, you provide overall direction for team members and work on established and moderately complex issues within your specialization. Exercise independent judgement within defined parameters to determine appropriate actions to bring these issues to a resolution.

Job responsibilities

  • Serves in a leadership role for multiple technical teams and collaborates with others within the function
  • Anticipates the needs and potential dependencies of the broader team
  • Provides tasks, guidance, and expectations as necessary
  • Identifies and takes action to mitigate and escalate issues to appropriate leadership
  • Manages stakeholders and ensures teams deliver the aligned projects in line with the compliance standards, risk and security, service level agreements, and business requirements
  • Applies relevant technical expertise, leadership, and business knowledge to projects of moderate to large scope
  • Contributes to decisions that influence staffing, budget, and relevant profit and loss
  • Advises junior engineers and technologists
  • Adds to the team's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience . In addition, 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
  • At least 5 years of team leadership experience and 10 years managing mobile devices and endpoints.
  • Deep knowledge of iOS, Android, and mobile device management.
  • Experience managing large numbers of devices at scale for critical business operations.
  • Experience with identity and access management, device security, firewalls, mobile application management (MAM), and authentication.
  • Strong leadership experience, with financial services experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in managing Windows, Mac, and Chrome OS.
  • Ability to guide and coach teams on approach to achieve goals aligned against set strategic initiatives.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
  • Exposure to managing budgets.
