Job Title: Oracle Cloud OTL Consultant - California Compliance

Location: Remote (Some Onsite Required - Expenses Covered)

Duration: 6 Months (with potential extensions)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud OTL (Oracle Time and Labor) Consultant with specialised expertise in configuring and managing timekeeping policies aligned with California labor laws. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing complex time rules and policies within Oracle Cloud HCM to ensure compliance with California s unique labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

California Labor Compliance

• Configure daily and weekly overtime rules specific to California
• Implement flat-sum bonus calculations in accordance with California wage laws
• Set up and enforce California meal break regulations within Oracle OTL

Oracle Cloud OTL Configuration

• Enable and manage overtime rules in Oracle Cloud
• Create and maintain earning groups and time entry policies
• Define and configure elements for various bonus structures
• Enable and manage relevant profile options to support OTL functionality
• Utilise Oracle s Fast Formula engine to design and test custom logic for time validations and calculations

Operational Excellence

• Review, troubleshoot, and analyse employee time cards for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow
• Document configuration steps, test cases, and user guides for internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, specifically Oracle Time and Labor (OTL)
• Deep understanding of California labour laws, including overtime, bonuses, and meal/rest break requirements
• Proficiency in Oracle Fast Formula development and debugging
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
