RAN Lab support engineer (LSE)

The RAN Lab support engineer (LSE) has a crucial role in this project, main responsibilities is to provide support to different labs (Richardson, Plano data center). This support will be given to remote Ericsson engineers located in multiple locations (Canada, Mexico, India, US).
Technical assistance is required for help to incoming request from remote engineers for multiple 5G mobile networks equipment s based on the latest recommendations agreed on 3GPP forum worldwide.
Perform software and hardware on site support testing to evaluate the real system performance in the existing 4G networks and introducing the latest 5G technology behavior for Global Acceptance. Test new Mobile handsets (Phones) from Samsung, Apple, Motorola, Qualcomm, and other manufacturers to verify their performance with the latest Software in the new 5G mobile.
LSE requires 100% on site Lab support, without availability of remote work.
The LSE is required to possess excellent technical and troubleshooting skills. He/She will need these skills when analyzing issues and when asked questions. The LSE is required to assist and provide technical advice to any Ericsson remote team member, and having such technical competence will ensure a quick and smooth project implementation and execution. A minimum requirement of these skills:
Intermediate Unix / Linux experience.
Intermediate Moshell experience.
Intermediate ENM experience.
Intermediate Site solution experience.
Advanced KPI experience.
Advanced 5G / NR experience.
1 year of customer support experience
1 year troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of RBS node SW/HW architecture
LTE/NR RAN knowledge.
LTE/NR Trace collection and analysis
LTE/NR Call flow knowledge
LTE/NR Node/radio integration knowledge
Logtool, LNTG knowledge.
LTE/NR RAN features knowledge.
Knowledge of Ericsson RAN portfolio.
5+ years of experience in Telecom Industry, ideally in Radio Domain.
The skills below are considered as a plus to have,
Basic Tools (HW, spectrum Analyser, RF scanner, etc) experience.
Intermediate Tools (SW, QXDM / QCAT, iPerf, tracing tool)
UE testing
