Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

Our Corporate Legal team believes in finding solutions, driving change, and creating the best possible experience for the leaders and other stakeholders we support. We love technology that makes us better at what we do. If that sounds like a good fit to you and you're an experienced corporate legal program manager in the areas of securities laws and corporate governance, we want to talk to you. We believe diversity and inclusion among our teammates produces better results and is critical to our success as a global company. We are committed to recruiting, developing, and retaining the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool.

This role sits on the Corporate Legal team, and works closely with teams across Intuit including finance, accounting, the executive team, HR, investor relations, stock administration and immigration. We're looking for someone who is curious, who takes great pride in their work, who always asks "how can we improve," and who thrives on winning together.

This role is hybrid with on-site expectations of 2-3 days per week.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of paralegal experience and/or program management at a law firm or in-house with expertise in securities law and corporate governance practices; experience in other areas of corporate law a plus.
  • Well-developed project management skills, including preparing project plans and key milestones and managing them.
  • A learner and innovator who's never afraid to try something new, experiment and has a bias for action.
  • Strong working knowledge of GSuite (word, slides, drive), Microsoft (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Section 16 reporting tools. Experience in Nasdaq Boardvantage is a plus.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage a significant workload for multiple internal stakeholders with competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being able to effectively communicate with executives and create easy-to-understand processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a "can do" mentality.
  • Strong personal ethical code and integrity and deep respect for privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Intuit's securities compliance program, which will include SEC filings, board governance, insider trading compliance, engagement with executives, and partnership with outside law firms, auditors and other advisors.
  • Identifying and creating efficiencies within the securities compliance program through the use of technology, including building scalable and automated processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Legal team to prepare materials for Board and Committee meetings.
  • Assisting with proxy statements, registration statements, Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other SEC and regulatory filings, and D&O questionnaires.
  • Manage Section 16 and other insider trading processes, NASDAQ notifications, and conflict mineral reports.
  • Assist with document production for SOX compliance, internal audits, and special projects.
