Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will design and build advanced software solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern tools and technologies while staying ahead in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, prototype, and develop custom business applications throughout the project lifecycle, utilizing modern tools and best practices.
Create and maintain web services to seamlessly integrate internal and external APIs.
Optimize application architecture through enhanced logging, error handling, and performance tuning.
Implement DevOps practices to streamline automation processes and minimize inefficiencies.
Contribute to scaling and improving existing platforms to support organizational growth.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and incorporate them into development processes.
Collaborate on assigned projects to enhance functionality and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Develop a deep understanding of domain knowledge and adhere to development best practices.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles.
Experience with object-oriented programming, web development, and UI/UX technologies.
Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
Knowledge of version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub.
Understanding of API development, backend systems, and bug tracking tools.
Exposure to DevOps tools and practices, including automation and CI/CD pipelines.
