TITLE OF POSITION: Business Analyst
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 10 Months
FULL TIME OR PART TIME: Full Time (Contract)
REFERENCES: 3 references
INTERVIEW: In-person / MS Teams at client discretion
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Hybrid: Annapolis, Maryland, and Baltimore, Maryland.
It is expected that the contractor will be on-site, either in Annapolis or Baltimore, one to two days per week.
Strong preference is Local and nearby only
MANDATORY EXPERIENCE
1. At least 3 years' experience working on projects involving analysis and documentation of business processes, development of standard operating procedures, or business process reengineering.
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, with a major in business administration or a related area of study.
3. Current CBAP, PMI-PBA, CAPM or other relevant professional certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years' experience serving as a project manager or holding responsibility for the
timely, efficient, and effective executive of complex tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Contractor will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, executing, completing, and reporting on continuous improvement projects within each Division. These projects will aim to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and security of agency operations and may include:
A. Developing documentation or training for existing business processes.
B. Identifying and offering recommendations to remediate gaps in internal control.
C. Developing or coordinating with technical support staff to develop or enhance tools or workflows within existing applications in the COM technology environment, including Excel, Sharepoint, PowerBI, ServiceNow, KAPS, and Revenue Premier.
D. Reengineering business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, cost, or employee satisfaction.
E. Providing quality assurance testing or supporting the design and development of business processes which are migrating into new applications.
