Job Details
Job Title: Sr. Mainframe Developer
Location: Coral Springs, FL (Local candidates only onsite interview required)
Mandatory Skills: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead mainframe application design and development using IBM Mainframe Utilities, CICS, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and COBOL.
- Implement technical solutions aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in defining project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and drive optimizations.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Provide accurate development estimates and participate in project planning.
- Ensure adherence to security policies and data protection measures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and suggest enhancements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide project updates.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
