Skills Required:

  • Reconfigure and deploy web/app/process scheduler domains on AWS (EC2-based architecture)
  • Configure shared file systems (EFS/FSx) for batch output, logs, reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current infrastructure and define migration roadmaps

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PeopleSoft Cloud Migration Specialist to lead and support the migration of PeopleSoft applications from on-premise infrastructure to cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PeopleSoft administration and technical development skills, strong hands-on experience with cloud migration strategies, and a proven track record of successful PeopleSoft implementations in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end migration of PeopleSoft applications from on-premise to cloud (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).
  • Reconfigure and deploy web/app/process scheduler domains on AWS (EC2-based architecture)
  • Collaborate with DBA and cloud engineering teams to migrate Oracle database (EC2-hosted or RDS-based)
  • Configure shared file systems (EFS/FSx) for batch output, logs, reports
  • Administer, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft environments using `psadmin` and PeopleTools utilities and manage Integration Broker (IB), SSL certificates, and SSO/LDAP integration post-migration
  • Perform PeopleSoft environment setup, configuration, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current infrastructure and define migration roadmaps.
  • Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning for PeopleSoft environments.
  • Develop and execute detailed cutover plans, dry runs, and rollback strategies
  • Monitor and troubleshoot PeopleSoft application issues post-migration.
  • Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Participate in post-migration performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft administration and infrastructure management.
  • Proven experience in migrating PeopleSoft applications to cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture (Web Server, Application Server, Process Scheduler, Database).
  • Expertise in PeopleTools (8.5x), Tuxedo, WebLogic, Oracle DB
  • Hands-on experience with App Designer, SQR, PeopleCode, App Engine, and IB configuration
  • Experience configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft in a Linux and/or Windows EC2 environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across App, Web, and Batch tiers
  • Familiarity with cutover planning, rollback, and dry run documentation
  • Experience with cloud services (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure) and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python) for automation and monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
