Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of WordPress projects (custom themes, plugins, e-commerce, migrations, performance optimization).
  • Break requirements into tasks, timelines, milestones, and sprints.
  • Create and manage project plans, sprint boards, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure scope, cost, and timelines are clearly defined and controlled.

Client Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Lead requirement gathering, kickoff calls, weekly status updates, and delivery reviews.
  • Manage client expectations, handle change requests, and ensure transparency.

Team Coordination

  • Coordinate with WordPress developers, UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Assign tasks, track progress, remove blockers, and ensure accountability.
  • Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Quality & Risk Management

  • Ensure WordPress best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines are followed.
  • Oversee QA cycles, UAT support, and final production releases.
  • Identify delivery risks early and proactively resolve issues.

Process & Documentation

  • Maintain clear documentation: BRDs, SOWs, user stories, acceptance criteria.
  • Improve delivery processes, templates, and SOPs continuously.
  • Ensure proper handover, deployment, and post-launch support readiness.
