Position: Senior Business Analyst w/ Commercial Lending
Location: Columbus, OH / Minneapolis, MN / Charlotte, NC ONSITE 4 days per week
Duration: 7 months
We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support daily operations and systems for Commercial Loan Services, including loan booking, servicing, collateral, agency, and SBA lending. Ideal candidates will have direct, hands-on experience in front-line commercial loan operations, a problem-solving mindset, and a drive for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support
- Act as the go-to resource for resolving process and systems issues.
- Provide day-to-day support for commercial loan operations.
- Troubleshoot AFS Vision, FIS ACBS, and other loan platforms.
- Serve as SME and provide training on systems and best practices.
- Document and translate business requirements into functional specs.
Project Delivery
- Lead small/mid-size initiatives across Ops, Risk, and Tech teams.
- Plan and coordinate system testing (SIT/UAT) for patches/releases.
- Maintain project timelines, documentation, and updates.
Process Improvement
- Identify and drive process and system enhancements.
- Partner with Tech to implement automation and upgrades.
- Support change management and user adoption.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's + 7 years in bank operations, or HS Diploma + 10 years.
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in banking.
- 5+ years in Commercial Lending or Business Banking operations.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, drive solutions, and optimize processes.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
- Experience with AFS Vision or FIS ACBS.
- Familiarity with data/reporting tools (SQL, Tableau, Crystal Reports).
- Project tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Project.
