Overview

This position is responsible for designing and developing applications and solutions to meet the needs of the Company.

Responsibilities

    • Work, as part of an agile team, with the product owner, team members, and stakeholders to understand requirements for simple-to-complex business systems.
    • Work with other agile team members to ensure that systems are being built to defined expectations and perform change management functions as needed.
    • Analyze and perform modifications to systems as requested by end users.
    • Analyze and assist in correction of problems which may occur in system operations.
    • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and company policy.
    • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
    • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, or closely related field, or significant equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4-6 years industry experience as a developer in an agile work environment (scrum or kanban)
  • Experience working in SQL Server and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with C#/.NET, WPF, Web APIs as part of a Service Oriented Architecture
  • Experience with unit testing using NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest frameworks
  • Proficiency working in Windows, MacOS x, Linux and Unix environments
  • Knowledge of JSON, LINQ, Entity Framework is highly desirable
  • Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Angular, and like frameworks
  • Ability to work well with internal customers and management
  • Ability to gather requirements and develop design specifications
  • Experience with web applications
  • Comfortable with mobile and desktop applications
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum setting preferred
