We are working with a local Austin company that is hiring candidates who have graduated with a Computer Science or related technical Degree from a top school globally.
This role is On-site M-F in Northwest Austin, TX. We are looking for someone local or willing to relocate (We will reimburse for relocation expenses and also will sponsor VIsas.)
Our client is a leader in technology and is looking for a Software Engineer to work on marketing and data analytics solutions internally that drive key decision-making across the company.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology with a clear, solid background in computer science. If you have a proven ability to learn, explore, and quickly turn the latest technologies into value, then you are the perfect candidate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree or higher degree in Computer Science from UT Austin or another top 25 University in the US (or top 50 School worldwide)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and developing database analytics or applications
- Proficiency in SQL, preferably hands-on experience with Spark (Scala or PySpark)
- Experience developing web applications using Java or Scripting Languages, such as PHP
- Experience working in an AWS/Linux environment
- Must reside in the greater Austin metro area or be willing to relocate to the Austin area (Relocation Reimbursement will be offered)
