A Consulting company is currently seeking a talented and experienced Network Administrator to join the team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure solutions for clients, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of their IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, such as access controls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols, to safeguard against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Perform regular network performance monitoring and optimization to identify and address bottlenecks, latency issues, and other performance-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to troubleshoot complex network issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Conduct network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for network security and data privacy.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior network administrators and help desk staff, empowering them to resolve network-related issues and enhance their skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topology diagrams, and change management procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration roles, with a proven track record of designing and managing complex network environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and network security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Wireshark, and SNMP-based solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
