Job Title: IT Deskside Support Technician
Location: Waterloo, IA
Shifts: 1st Shift or 3rd Shift (Onsite)
Type: Contract (Metatarsal shoes required on Day 1)
On-Call: Weekend on-call rotation
Travel: Some travel between Waterloo locations using personal vehicle
Visa Sponsorship: Not available
Relocation: Looking for candidates local or within close proximity
Provide onsite deskside support at the Waterloo, IA location. Perform standard IT operations and support processes, including hardware and software troubleshooting, asset maintenance, and customer service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:-
Perform and monitor standard IT support tasks (e.g., computer imaging, printer toner replacement, asset disposal, ServiceNow ticket resolution).

Maintain documentation such as contact lists, process logs, incident reports, and inventory/service records.

Update and maintain asset data in Asset Center, follow KB articles for resolution.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems using pre-established and documented solutions; escalate issues outside scope.

Maintain IT equipment and supplies, schedule maintenance, order inventory, and interact with vendors.

Apply basic technical knowledge (e.g., printer troubleshooting, computer hardware handling).

May drive a John Deere Gator within the factory after training.

Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, intranet/internet tools

General understanding of computer security policies and concepts

Excellent written/email communication and documentation skills

1+ year of IT experience preferred (recent IT graduates will be considered)

High school diploma or equivalent required

Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology preferred
