Title: Product Manager for Web Experiences
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 11 Months (Possible extension/hire)
- Role/Purpose:
Responsible for increasing user adoption and conversion by creating a seamless and valuable trial experience. - Serve as the voice of the trial user, working with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate pain points in the journey. This work requires balancing the needs of the customer with business objectives.
- Ship successful products by defining vision, strategy, and outcome-driven product roadmaps.
- Manage the full product lifecycle to deliver the value for customer experiences.
Functions as a central resource collaborating with design, production, quality, test, marketing and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle. - Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of specific features, products or group of products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1. Strategic planning and execution Develop a vision and roadmap: Collaborate with go-to-market teams to establish the product strategy for the trial experience across company portfolio. This includes setting goals and prioritizing initiatives to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Drive product improvements: Lead scrum teams to deliver iterative improvements to the trial process, focusing on quick, user-friendly wins and measuring their success.
Coordinate launches: Oversee end-to-end product launches and feature rollouts related to the trial, collaborating with marketing, engineering, and support teams.
2. User research and data analysis Understand customer needs: Use data analysis, usability studies, and customer interviews to gain a deep understanding of trial users' behaviors and pain points.
Define success metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals to measure the success of the trial experience, such as download rates, in-app feature usage, and conversion to paid subscriptions.
Use data for personalization: Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate data-driven personalization into the trial, such as recommending relevant features or learning paths.
3. Cross-functional collaboration Align with internal teams: Work with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, sales, and engineering, to ensure a cohesive strategy.
Communicate effectively: Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to all stakeholders.
Advocate for best practices: Promote data analytics, experimentation, and AI-driven design across the organization to create better user experiences.
