- 12+ years Experience with Application Database Administration.
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS on RHEL 7/8
- Database System monitoring experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MySQL.
- Experience with NOSQL Database.
- Experience with CyberArk, Redhat OpenShift, Autosys, ServiceNowq.
- Hands-on Java application development and coding.
- Handle high priority projects.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Provide development expertise and bring advanced knowledge of applications programming to ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure integration of functions, identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
- Provide hands-on Application Database Administration support to the entire Reference Data team for its enhancements.
- Actively ensure availability and performance tuning of the databases that support the system.
- Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance.
- Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
- Provide trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
- Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate.
- Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades.
- Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team.
