Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Workday Functional Grants Analyst who will be working on our client s Workday Finance team. . This is a remote role with our premier healthcare client! Qualified candidates must have experience working in Hospital University systems and have completed one Workday Grants implementation.
- As a Workday Grants Analyst, you will be responsible for the set up and configuration of Workday functional areas Foundation Data Model, Accounting, Spend Management, Revenue Management, Budgets, Expenses, Projects and Grants.
- You will work with third parties and internal stakeholders, leading and participating in design sessions, gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements for the Workday ERP working on the Workday Finance team under IT. This role reports directly to the Workday Finance and Supply Chain Application Manager.
- You will be collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business and technical disciplines and providing expertise in the development and execution of a comprehensive technical program for the Workday Grants and Finance applications.
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of Financial ERP experience.
- Minimum of 2 years functional experience in Workday Grants for a Hospital/Medical Center University System.
- Minimum of 3 + years of Workday Financials experience.
- Deep understanding or desire to learn Workday technical architecture and best practices.
- Detailed oriented, excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with multiple IT and business partners.
What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)
- Participate in configuration design sessions for the development, implementation, configuration and testing of Workday Grants and Finance functional areas, processes, integrations, and reports.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the configuration, updates, and administration of end-to-end processes in the Workday application.
- Assist with the requirements gathering, development and testing of integrations and reports.
- Develop Workday Finance Reports.
- Maintain high level data quality and completeness for accurate Financial information.
- Analyze Workday implementation and product releases and provide input to the optimization and enhancement of new functionality.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and configure solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Provide education and assist with training team members and stakeholders and end-users regarding integration processes.
- Stay informed about Workday updates and new features related to security and manage the implementation of necessary changes or improvements.
- Communicate and work directly with vendors and internal teams to gather configuration and reporting requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Maintains confidentiality about information being processed, stored or accessed
- Proactively address and resolve issues as they arise.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per/year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
