Role: Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect GCVE Specialist
Location: Remote
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and VMware infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing VMware-based solutions both on-premises and in the cloud, with strong automation, networking, and storage skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement solutions using Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
- Manage and administer VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter, Clusters, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerCLI, Python, or similar tools.
- Design and troubleshoot networking solutions involving TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
- Manage enterprise storage solutions such as VMware vSAN or equivalent technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute cloud migration strategies.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5 7 years of IT infrastructure experience, with 3 5 years in VMware vSphere administration.
- Deep understanding of VMware architecture and core components.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and mandatory expertise in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerCLI, Python, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and enterprise storage systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect/Network Engineer certification.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise-scale deployments.
