One of our clients in the government domain is seeking a detail-oriented Front-End Developer with hands-on experience working within Figma-based design systems and managing design tokens using Storybook or similar tools. This role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming high-fidelity design mockups into scalable, component-based front-end code, all while maintaining a deep respect for design integrity and consistency.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers using Figma to translate wireframes and visual designs into reusable, responsive components.
- Implement and maintain UI components in a modern front-end stack (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
- Integrate and manage design tokens and component libraries using Storybook or equivalent tools.
- Enforce adherence to the design system, advocating scalable, maintainable, and consistent UI patterns.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers.
- Work closely with product and design teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of UI.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
- Strong experience with component-based frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Proven experience integrating designs directly from Figma, especially with design systems and auto-layout.
- Hands-on experience using Storybook or similar tools for component documentation and testing.
- The candidate won t be designing UI/UX, but you will bring it to life with pixel-perfect code.
- Solid understanding of responsive and accessible design principles.
- Familiarity with design tokens and scalable theming practices.
- The focus is on front-end implementation and system fidelity.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like Style Dictionary, Chromatic, or Zero height.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD, and agile workflows.
- Interest or experience in performance optimization and front-end testing.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience in front-end development.
