Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Troy, Michigan. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing and optimizing Novidea, a cloud-based policy administration platform tailored for the insurance industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for business process improvement and technology to contribute to our organization's success.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for the Novidea platform.
Translate business needs into functional specifications that align with platform capabilities.
Assist in the configuration, implementation, and optimization of the Novidea system to meet organizational goals.
Conduct thorough testing of system features and solutions to ensure they meet quality and business standards.
Provide training and support to users, focusing on workflows, features, and best practices of Novidea.
Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Facilitate change management processes to ensure seamless transitions during system implementation.
Continuously assess and identify opportunities to improve business processes through the use of the Novidea platform.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the insurance sector.
Hands-on experience with Novidea or similar insurance management platforms is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in analyzing business processes and gathering requirements effectively.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable functional solutions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in system implementations, user training, and providing ongoing support.
Familiarity with business analysis tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
