In this position...

You'll have the opportunity to work on electrical power supply quality for both our EVs and ICE vehicles. Improving quality is the company's #1 goal and this position will be critical to delivering world class quality.

What you'll do...
  • Lead the quality assurance team in strong collaboration with the low voltage (LV) power supply functional team to ensure delivery of quality event at major vehicle program milestones
  • Provide the voice of quality by assessing engineering deliverables against program requirements. Ability to defend position when counter to function's assessment
  • Drive the team to develop robust test plans using the failure mode avoidance tools such as Boundary Diagrams. P-Diagrams and DFMEA
  • Drive improvements and robustness into test methods and requirements
  • Help teams develop robust prevent recurrence action plans for issues that were discovered during testing and launch
  • Drive to closure open prevent action closure (PAC) items to meet corporate timing targets
  • Lead teams to discovery of root cause and actionable prevent recurrence actions using analytical problem solving tools


You'll have...
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 5+ years engineering experience with power supply systems or components (12V Battery,48V Battery, Alternator, Starter Motor, Capacitor Modules)
  • Familiar with quality documentation (DFMEA, SCCAF, Boundary Diagram) and processes
  • Demonstrated team player with experience working across functions and organizations

  • Working experience with automotive manufacturing process and environment
  • Experience with low voltage power supply design and release
  • Knowledge of Ford Motor Company's global product development system
  • Experience with analytical problem solving tools and processes (DMAIC, 3-Legged 5-Why,Black Belt)
