Job Details
Job Title: Website Developer
Location: Sacramento, CA
Contract: 2 years
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, modernizing, and maintaining public-facing government websites. This experience should include projects for organizations of similar size, scope, and complexity, with a proven track record of delivering high quality, user-centered, accessible, and secure websites.
- Minimum of three (3) references demonstrating the ability to sustain a qualified and dedicated team for the duration of a multi-year engagement, up to two (2) years.
- References must reflect projects of similar size and complexity and should include details on the ability to maintain consistent staffing levels, ensure continuity of expertise, and provide resources with the necessary skills and experience to support all phases of the project, including post-launch support.
- This experience should include leveraging the website as a tool to effectively communicate the organization's mission, vision, and services to diverse audiences, while identifying opportunities to reduce call center volume through improved user experience, self-service functionality, and clear, accessible content.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in implementing and customizing enterprise-level Content Management Systems (CMS) for public-facing websites. This experience should include working with Acquia and Drupal and ensuring CMS usability for non-technical staff. Vendors must provide examples of past projects showcasing their ability to deliver CMS solutions that support efficient content creation, management, and publishing workflows.

- Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in deploying Generative AI (Gen AI) capabilities, including the implementation of AI driven features such as chatbots, personalized content delivery, predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), recommendation engines, or other advanced AI functionalities designed to enhance user experience and engagement.
- Must provide examples of past projects demonstrating the successful deployment of these capabilities in environments of similar size and complexity
