Job Details

Job Title: Sr. Appian Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Long term contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Appian applications using the latest Appian capabilities and best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to translate business needs into Appian process models, interfaces, and integrations.

  • Develop and maintain SAIL forms, process models, records, and reports.

  • Implement integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and third-party systems.

  • Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce Appian development standards.

  • Contribute to release planning, documentation, and production support.

  • Stay current with Appian platform enhancements and continuously improve development practices.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Appian development experience, including at least 2 years with versions 22.x or newer.

  • Proven ability to design and implement Appian Records, SAIL interfaces, process models, sites, and reports.

  • Experience integrating Appian with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).

  • Hands-on experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and Appian Plug-ins.

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in distributed teams.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
