Job Details

Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid 2 days onsite/week, onsite from Day 1, no remote-only option)
Interview Process:
  • 1st Round: Virtual via Microsoft Teams
  • 2nd Round: In-person (tentatively scheduled for 6/27/2025)
  • Local Candidates Strongly Preferred; Non-locals must relocate at own expense and start onsite as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements and specifications

  • Facilitate requirement sessions, meetings, and presentations independently

  • Maintain and manage backlog of work items in Azure DevOps

  • Operate within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall development framework

  • Manage project communication, timelines, and change requests

  • Track sprint progress and ticket updates

  • Ensure compliance with department change management processes

  • Liaise with State of Michigan auditors

  • Maintain documentation on SharePoint

  • Provide project status reports and resource projections to management

  • Lead and mentor other Business Analysts as a senior team member
