Job Details

Position: Release Train Engineer
Type: W2 Contract (No C2C)

We re looking for an experienced and proactive Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and manage Agile Release Trains (ARTs) across complex enterprise initiatives. If you're passionate about driving Agile at scale, facilitating program-level planning, and enabling cross-team collaboration, we d love to hear from you!


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART)
  • Facilitate PI (Program Increment) Planning events and other key ART ceremonies
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on vision, goals, and delivery timelines
  • Monitor and escalate risks, impediments, and dependencies across teams
  • Drive continuous improvement by facilitating Inspect & Adapt workshops and tracking ART metrics
  • Ensure teams are following SAFe practices and principles
  • Collaborate with Release Management, DevOps, and QA to support smooth delivery and deployments

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Agile program/project management
  • 9+ years of experience specifically as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar SAFe role
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, especially SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Proven experience in facilitating large-scale Agile ceremonies
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, VersionOne)
  • SAFe RTE certification strongly preferred
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
