Job Details

A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Technical Editor to join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain color measurement instruments, including spectrophotometers and gloss meters.
Conduct instrumental measurements and follow established procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers and scientists to compare numerical color data with visual assessments, aiding in interpretation and decision-making.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lab workspace.
Ensure regular instrument calibration and upkeep.
Track inventory and assist with procurement of lab supplies and equipment.
Systematically store and manage measurement data using internal databases, templates or software tools.
Generate technical reports and data summaries based on measured results.
Troubleshoot data anomalies and support efforts to improve measurement processes.

Key Qualifications:
Basic experience operating industrial or scientific instrumentation (color metrology experience preferred but not required).
Strong organizational skills with attention to lab workflows and cleanliness.
Proficient in data entry, analysis, and report creation using standard office tools.
Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with scientists and engineers.
Demonstrated ability to follow protocols and meet tight timelines with precision.

Type: Contract
Duration: 10 months with extension
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (on-site)
Pay range: $ 30.00 - $ 42.00 (DOE)
