Job Details

Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid / Locals Preferred)

Duration: 12+ Months

Contract: W2 Only (No C2C)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern Java backend technologies and contemporary frontend frameworks. This role requires hands-on expertise across the full stack, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, performance, and building reliable, user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks
  • Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular or React
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
  • Support deployments, production issues, and performance tuning
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Java full stack development
  • Strong hands-on experience with: ,Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices
  • Strong frontend experience with: Angular or React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA)
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
