Job Details

Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join a growing IT infrastructure team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks using Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Implement and manage security solutions (e.g., ASA, Firepower, ISE).
  • Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and manage upgrades.
  • Participate in network-related projects, including data center migrations, cloud integrations, and VoIP deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and security best practices.
  • Provide on-call support and respond to network outages or incidents as needed.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime).
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or higher are highly preferred.
