Data Scientist Gen AI Lead Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Long Term

W2 Only

Duties:

 

  • Design, develop, and implement production grade Gen AI engineering solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Write efficient SQL queries for database management and reporting purposes.
  • Must have proven experience using LLM models to create effective prompts, debug, optimize with strong understanding of creating eval prompts for testing the capabilities of LLMs using the LLMs themselves.
  • Create and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop automation scripts to implement pipelines for enhancing operational efficiency.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (7-10 years) as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer, with strong experience with Gen AI based solutions in production.
  • Experience working on cutting-edge technologies to solve problems using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Fine tuning LLMs, Prompt tuning, etc.
  • Experience working with React.js to develop User Interfaces.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure), with Google Cloud Platform and Gemini LLM experience preferred.
  • Strong programming skills required in Python and experience working with version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
