IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst to join our teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology by analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering data-driven insights and technical solutions.

Tasks

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and objectives.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Develop user stories, process flows, data models, and wireframes.
• Support testing activities by creating test plans, test cases, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Environment: Azure DevOps, MS Visio, Microsoft 365 Services, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Agile Methodologies

 Note: Local candidates only. Hybrid work environment requiring 2-days on site weekly.  

Location: Pontiac, MI (Hybrid 2 days per week)

Contract: 1+ years

Skills Required:

5+ years of experience in the following:

• Strong knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or other software development methodologies
• Experience with large scale complex data migration projects
• Proficiency in tools like Draw.io or Visio for documenting and improving business processes
• Strong understanding of systems, data analysis, and stakeholder communication

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data flows
• Azure DevOPS experience for supporting requirements, project life cycle, and testing.
