Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Node.js Developer Level III to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you'll contribute to the development of scalable, cloud-based web applications and play a key part in integrating third-party devices into enterprise systems. This position is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology solutions while collaborating with diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop server-side code to enable the integration of third-party devices into the enterprise ecosystem.
Design, implement, and optimize highly scalable, resilient, and robust cloud-based services.
Oversee continuous integration and deployment processes for multiple microservices within the platform.
Partner with QA teams to design and execute automated application-level testing suites.
Employ industry-standard best practices to address complex business challenges through software solutions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that align with existing systems.
Present and justify architectural designs and technical decisions to both internal and external stakeholders.
Build prototypes rapidly to demonstrate architectural concepts and technical feasibility.
Travel occasionally to collaborate with teams based at the company headquarters.
Requirements
6-8 years of programming experience in mainstream programming languages, demonstrating attention to detail.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
Proven ability to design cloud-based web services with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
Experience in managing large-scale production deployments, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Expertise in designing software architectures for high-volume applications.
Proficient in developing and maintaining APIs for web services.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong foundation in software design, algorithms, and debugging techniques.
