Position Summary

An IT Project Manager leads teams in the to implement new applications, design and install new systems and supporting infrastructure, or enhances existing systems and applications. The candidate for this role needs to be familiar with and have experience managing ServiceNow engagements and understand the ServiceNow core methodology. Project Managers are accountable for managing project teams and using the Intuitive s playbook and standard project tools to manage risks and issues to successfully deliver projects that meet scope, schedule and budget. Candidates must possess strong written verbal and communication skills, excellent presentations skills, self-directed and goal oriented.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the management of one or more small and medium projects that are moderately complex. These projects are one-time, multitask jobs that have clearly defined start and end dates, a specific scope of work, a budget, required resources, and a specified performance objective to be achieved. Lead high-impact ServiceNow projects to successful completion in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include:

Exercise independent judgment and discretion related to project execution

Responsible for leading one or more projects typically between $100,000 - $5,000,000

Gather, define and document project requirements

Provide regular project status updates including project progress toward achieving the objectives defined in the project scope

Clearly define and communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations for all project team members

Independently plan and maintain project tasks and schedule to successfully deliver projects

Ability to think out of the box and creatively solve complex project challenges

Provide direction and lead teams to deliver projects on time and on budget

Conduct project kick-off meetings and phase gate reviews

Ensure all project team members have the tools and training necessary to perform effectively

Record, track and communicate project issues, risks, changes, and status complying with PMO standards

Drive all project related tasks and work streams to successful completion

Develop and maintain up-to-date detailed project schedules and work plans

Monitor critical project milestones, identifying and mitigating risks and issues

Proactively address project risks and issues following procedural guidelines

Assess project performance and implement changes as necessary to ensure the projects remains within budget, schedule, and scope

Communicate projects status to all stakeholders and leadership in an accurate and timely manner

Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders

Prepare all project documentation ensuring accuracy and completeness

Qualifications

Minimum:

5 years experience managing one or more moderately complex IT product/software development cycles/projects

Proven expertise in leading ServiceNow implementations, specifically in ticketing systems, incident management, and service request management.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and adept presentation skills

Understanding of IT roles and responsibilities

Advanced understanding of project management principles and methodologies

Experience working in a PMO environment as Project Lead or Project Manager on medium to complex projects

Advanced PM knowledge and technical competence

Desired

Experience managing project for implementing and upgrading collaboration tools (Zoom, Office360, Slack, Box, Lucid,etc.)

Proficient in using Project management tools e.g. Smartsheet, Anaplan

Experience in managing resource plans and resource balancing across projects and programs

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
