Service Backend
The Tesla Service Application teamis seeking a BackendSoftware Engineertocontribute tothe development of ourweb App.These products are part of Tesla s advanced platforms for managing Service workflow for Vehicle , Insurance and Energy products.The person willbe responsible forbuilding andmaintainingfull stack applications that support various use cases of service business.User interfaces are built with Angular, React and Typescript and are powered by highly performant backenddistributedsystems. The person will be working closely with our customers, focus on extensible design systems, and obsess over open-source quality solutions to create scalable applications.
Responsibilities
Contribute tothe complete software development lifecycle forapplications, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards
Design, develop, andmaintainfull stack web applications,utilizing .NET, C#,
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers,service engineersand othersoftwareengineers, to define and implement features that enhance operational efficiency for our customers.
Ensure that web applications integrate seamlessly with backend distributed systems and support real-time monitoring, control, and reporting
Contribute to the definition and implementation of extensible design systems that prioritize scalability, maintainability, and exceptional user experiences
Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to guarantee the reliability and performance of applications under various conditions
Activelymaintainand promote the core values of the team, which include engineering excellence, curiosity, a bias for action, self-awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability, contributing to a positive and productive team culture
Drive initiatives from concept to completion,from defining the business need with product experts,to conducting user interviews, culminating in feature implementation.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on developing and delivering user-centric web applicationsusingC#, .NET, Angular/React and TypeScript,
Solid understanding of web development best practices, design patterns, and scalability principles, including strategies forcomponentreuse, such as module federation
Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering robust, reliable, and efficient solutions that meet customer needs and drive operational excellence.
Enthusiasm for staying at the forefront of technology trends and a commitment to continuous learning, particularly in the fields of renewable energy and sustainable technologies.
Maintain the values of the team which include engineering excellence, curiosity, a bias for action, self-awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability.
