WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Supporting and Expanding the Investment Performance Calculation and Reporting Applications within Nuveen.
- Collaborating across business and IT leaders to understand and document business and functional requirements.
- Working with the project team to develop implementation plans and executing the plan in alignment with established architectures.
- Review investment data, analyze and identify data gaps, develop business requirement, data mapping and articulate them clearly with engineering teams.
- Work with engineering and operations teams and perform data quality and validations.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Candidate must have 7-10 years of experience on projects related to Asset management
- Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience working on investment performance calculation & reporting projects
- Candidate must have 1-2 years of experience working with Wall Street Office
- Candidate must have good understanding of Leveraged Loans asset class
- Candidate must be able to query and analyze data using PL/SQL tools.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university. BS / BA in Computer Science, Mathematical Finance, Accounting, Math or related technical area.
- Knowledge of Investment Accounting, Investment Performance and Data Management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence
- CFA or CIPM certifications is plus
