Description

We are on the search for a Senior Business Analyst to become an integral part of our team in the automotive industry, situated in Houston, Texas. As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O) and Dynamics AX 2012 for our financial and accounting functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity within our organization.

Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and identify potential system enhancements
Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and ensure smooth operations
Work in collaboration with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors
Support integrations and contribute to the development of effective reporting solutions
Utilize financial modules, data management, and reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Financial Reporter)
Play a key role in the Dynamics 365 F& O upgrade project, including configuration, system setup, testing, data migration, and training efforts
Apply strong functional and technical knowledge of financial modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F& O / AX 2012
Handle data migration, integrations, and adhere to ERP support best practices
Employ proficiency in Dynamics 365 F& O (or AX 2012) setup, configuration, and business processes (record to report, procure to pay, order to cash)
Understand finance business processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Procurement, Cash & Bank)
Familiarize with ERP integrations, data management, and reconciliation processes
Possess knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics DMF, OData, business events, or API integrations
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve ERP issues
Showcase excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to bridge the gap between business and IT teams
Independently manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.

Requirements

Strong experience in the Automotive industry is essential.
Proficiency in D365 is a must.
Prior experience with Axapta is required.
Demonstrated expertise in SSRS is necessary.
Proficiency in Power BI is expected.
Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst or similar role.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
