Job Summary:
PROLIM is currently seeking a Network Engineer 3 for one of our top clients, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. This is a great opportunity for an experienced network professional to support a mission-critical environment with a focus on network operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Program and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, DSLAMs, and nano beam equipment

  • Monitor network circuits daily to detect and address anomalies that may cause outages

  • Provide network support for all programs used across the Texas Department of Criminal Justice

  • Work in a hybrid setting with both on-site and telework responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10 years of relevant work experience in network engineering or a related field

  • Experience with programming and maintaining enterprise network equipment

  • Proven expertise in identifying and resolving network issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

  • Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Special Requirements:

  • Background in Network Computer Science

  • Active Cisco certifications preferred
